My passion for photography began at an early age: as early as twelve, the fascination with images and light captivated me. Back then I developed my first films and prints in the darkroom and gathered fundamental experience that would accompany me on my later path. Despite many changing interests, photography remained my constant companion and grew over the years into a firm part of my life.

Over the course of my career I have continuously expanded my knowledge and deepened my skills in various fields of photography. Among other roles, as a photographer at an advertising agency I initially specialised in product photography, professional headshots, and event photography, building up sound technical and creative expertise that I still draw on today.

A decisive step in my photographic work was joining the picture agencies iStockPhoto and Getty. Here, renowned companies such as Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn, Messe München, Ravensburger, and even respected media like the Wall Street Journal were among the users of my images. A highlight is the picture of the Munich city silhouette against the Alpine panorama — a motif that has gained far-reaching recognition.

My photo studio gives me maximum flexibility. I also have a mobile studio that allows me to create high-quality images outside the studio environment as well. With a mobile repro studio, I additionally offer the option of reproducing artworks and paintings true to detail and colour.

My approach is to see and capture the special in the simple — always with the aim of creating authentic and expressive images that captivate the viewer's gaze and convey emotions.
